Congratulations to PMS students on their recognition in this annual county-wide competition! Entries were displayed in the public show in Union.
Hallie Thompson, Tyler Cody, Karlee Lovell, and Faith Laxton were awarded ribbons and certificates from the Monroe Arts Alliance.

The Art Department sponsored its annual community Craft Show in early December. Vendors offered a wide variety of crafts and items for sale. Thanks to the community for supporting the PMS art program.
Peterstown Heritage Festival Youth Art Show & Auction - Winners
Students in Mrs. Porterfield's classes, and several additional students, created colorful pictures for a Youth Art Show & Silent Auction during the Peterstown Heritage Festival on Oct. 8. Their art work was donated for display and auctioned in the Market Street & Co. building. $300 was raised and this will be used to help with the preservation project to repurpose the old Terry building as a Center for community activities and business.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated in the show! Blue, red, and white ribbons were awarded with 1st place winners and People's Choice and Top Auction taking home art supplies.
